QYD Quest — September 7, 2021

A long journey is about to pay off for members of the Brattleboro steering committee — they're officially just one benchmark away from certification (with plans to document the final benchmark soon)! The National QYD Credentialing Committee was thrilled to approve not only benchmark #9, but also an Extraordinary Benchmark Alternative — the town of Brattleboro approving the right to vote in local elections for 16 and 17 year old youth! Here's what some of the QCC members had to say about the steering committee's efforts:

“She writes an excellent letter! I approve their achievement of benchmark 9 and also approve their accomplishment as an alternative benchmark.”
“That’s great news for Brattleboro. Congratulations and props to Maeve and the other members!”
“Very impressive! And well written letters. Of course I approve both requests and commend them on their work.”
